3rd Annual DwnTwn Art Days at McCormick Place

Art Days is a collaboration between the Miami Downtown Development Authority (Miami DDA) and the cultural spaces and artists residing in Downtown Miami. McCormick Place in Downtown Miami is hosting their 3rd Annual Art Days Celebration on September 19, 2014 from 6pm-Midnight. Located in the Miami Downtown Arts District (MDAD) at 111 SW 3rd Street in Miami, FL 33130, McCormick Place is a unique event space complete with an art gallery, artist studios and creative work spaces. 

The event will kick-off with a press conference for MDAD’s press release at 6pm. The celebrations will begin with a full line up of visual art exhibits, performance and animation art, theater, short film, comedy, poetry, and more. A portion of the McCormick Place Art Gallery is being transformed into a Black Box Theater showing films by MIA Animation and the Miami Short Film Festival.

The festivities will be enhanced with live music by Zachary Larmer Organ Trio and the Tom Dover Quintet. The evening will also include performance art by the LIVE! Modern School of Music. Guests will enjoy art and culture while mingling with Miami’s creative community leaders, business professionals and art enthusiasts.
