Wednesday, June 8th from 7-9pm Oolite Arts invites you to enjoy the opening reception of not one, but two exhibitions, and visit the studios of Oolite artists during Resident Night. Also the names of two lucky alums will be drawn as part of the quarterly $1,000 Alumni Art Materials Grant drawing. This Event is Free & Open to the Public / RSVP HERE.
Experience “Lean-To,” a group exhibition curated by Leilani Lynch, featuring works by Oolite resident artists which reflect on supportive structures ranging from the spiritual to environmental and economical, as well as those of preservation and care. Also enjoy, “At the Edge,” an exhibition showcasing work by women artists who use abstraction to investigate and challenge the boundaries of material, process and environment, co-curated by Amanda Bradley and Dennis Scholl. The evening will also include music by DJ D0tson and drinks courtesy of Bombay Sapphire and Dogfish Head Brewery.
