About Kate Hamann
Kate Hamann is a freelance trumpet player, vocalist, and composer based in Miami, FL. A graduate of the Frost School of Music, Hamann recently released her latest album, “Momentary Beauty,” a concept album telling a long love story. By using her trumpet and voice to make them seem like one continuous instrument, she aims to bridge the gap between instrumental and vocal music. In doing so, she contributes a fresh and inviting sound, and aspires to create enjoyable music for all types of listeners regardless of “genre.”
