The premiere International Contemporary & Modern art event of the summer, ArtHamptons has come to be known as a celebration of the Hamptons art community. Now entering its 7th successful year, the fair has proven to be the top location Hamptonites come to buy art. As the first major art event of the summer season, the fair is eagerly awaited with energetic enthusiasm and high expectations. In 2013, 14,000+ art devotees poured through the aisles, setting a new attendance record.
ArtHamptons takes place at the majestic Sculpture Fields at Nova’s Ark, located at 60 Millstone Road, Bridgehampton, New York 11932. The venue is a spectacular 50,000 sq ft. modular museum-like structure. The Sculpture Fields at Nova’s Ark is the brainchild of the late sculptor, painter and thinker Nova Mihai Popa. The Sculpture Fields at Nova’s Ark is an amazing 95 acres, featuring an elaborate and eye-popping Sculpture Park, the home field of the popular Southampton Hunt and Polo Club, art galleries, horse pastures and breathtaking sunsets.
Produced for and by Hamptonites, now in its 7th successful year, the fair is revered as the most anticipated cultural event of the summer. ArtHamptons pays homage to the region’s century-long tradition as a mecca for the creation and patronage of art. As such, residents and fair goers come to celebrate living in this historical and highly creative community. Attendance grows yearly, which is now in excess of 14,000 devotees. It is known not only for honoring many of its region’s past masters, but also a showcase for the currently revered and emerging artists of today on the East End.
Local art galleries exhibit next to prominent international dealers from 12 countries. Impeccably designed, it is all set to the highest level of international production standards. Over 3,000 important post-war and contemporary works are available for acquisition – displayed by 80+ established galleries. These dealers proudly showcase the finest work by 500+ respected artists.
