Wolfsonian-FIU: Zines in the Library

Friday, June 8th from 7-8pm learn what a zine is at The Wolfsonian-FIU and why are thousands of them collected in libraries and archives. Join us for Zines in the Library: On the Politics of Archiving Girls with Northwestern University‘s Janice Radway, learn how and why these scruffy, collaged, hand-crafted self-publications, many of them created by girls and young women, made their way so quickly from the punk underground into the bastions of book culture.
