Artist Dana Donaty at the Bakehouse
Dana Donaty is an innovative conceptual artist widely recognized for provocative canvases with unusual narratives, unique multimedia installations and murals. Her studio in Delray Beach has been her primary location, but you can now see her at the Bakehouse Art Complex in her new studio at BAC #48. Located in the Wynwood Arts District at 561 NW 32nd Street in Miami, FL 33127. The BAC is a leading center for creativity in South Florida, founded in 1986, this nonprofit organization provides juried emerging and mid-career artists with affordable studio spaces, exhibition opportunities, educational programming and common workshop spaces.
Donaty received a Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree from Moore College of Art and Design in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania in 1988. In the early 1990’s she moved to London where her career and reputation for unique artistic talents grew, expanding her client base in the UK and Europe. As a highly sought after artist, her portfolio represents a long list of art collectors, successful business professionals, celebrities, sports figures and government agencies.
After twelve years in England, Donaty relocated to South Florida and quickly established her creative artistry with a fresh approach to projects and an incredible ability to transform clients art desires into a reality. Commissions are approached with an eye for her client’s individual requirements and an exceptional level of commitment in delighting the most discerning clientele.
Achievements include participating in numerous highly regarded Fine Art Shows, Designer Showhouses, completing award winning public art projects, multiple awards within the design industry, high profile residential and commercial projects. Donaty’s art is the result of a fertile imagination often influenced by great masters, architecture and culture in England, Europe and America.
Donaty is very active in the arts community, collaborating with artists and the prestigious ASIDÂ – the American Society of Interior Designers. She was also the Chairperson of the Delray Public Art Advisory Board from 2008 – 2012.
