Behind Bigfoot: Meet Artist Idan Zareski

His signature family of Bigfoot sculptures have popped up around the world from the Swiss Alps to the beaches of Costa Rica to Art Basel Miami. The big feet represent human kind’s universal attachment to the planet. “Despite our race or color, where we live or who we are, we are all connected to one paradisiac planet: one home,” explains French-Israeli sculptor Idan Zareski who creates his sculptures by instinct and emotion rather than sketches and never took a single art class.
