Armory Art Center presents Art Salons featuring Dana Donaty

Tuesday, November 27th from 6:30 – 8:30pm experience an art talk, “Profoundly Playful” to ‘Order + Collapes’ – A Time of Transition”, with contemporary artist Dana Donaty during Art Salons at the Armory Art Center facilitated by Elle Schorr.

Art Salons at the Armory Art Center in West Palm Beach are a unique gathering place for artists from throughout the region. They offer thoughtful presentations by influential professional artists whose artwork is being shown in museums and galleries in South Florida. Presenters show their work, and talk about their influences, followed by stimulating discussions between the artist and the audience. These discussions cover the gamut of contemporary conceptual art practices, including cultural, socio/political, environmental, race and gender focused and aesthetic practices, the materials and techniques used to convey these ideas, and where we fit into the world of contemporary conceptual art.

All are welcome to join in this timely exploration of trends in contemporary art and Donaty’s work. All salons are $10 payable at the door and meet in the Armory Library. Come join in the lively discussion held in the Armory Art Center Media Room.
