Friday, January 14th through Sunday, January 16th enjoy the 45th Annual Art Deco Weekend on Miami Beach, themed ‘Art Deco Celebrates The Radio’, hosted by the Miami Design Preservation League, taking place along Ocean Drice. Art Deco Weekend was created 45 years ago by the Miami Design Preservation League (MDPL) to showcase the beautiful Art Deco buildings of South Beach, saving it for future generations. MDPL’s early work was the catalyst that created the vibrant, world-class city we live in today. This annual festival celebrates architecture, and brings together an impressive list of collectors of everything art deco, from art, design and vintage clothing to 1940s clock radios and Depression-era furniture. Enjoy a variety of events including live dance and musical performances, lectures, tours, a parade and more. For additional information, contact the Miami Design Preservation League by calling (305) 672-2014 or sending an email to info@mdpl.org. Visitors will enjoy:
