Art Talk at the Haitian Heritage Museum
May 31, 2017 @ 6:30 pm - 8:00 pm
Wednesday, May 31st from 6:30-8pm Miami artist Eddie Arroyo will talk about witnessing the effects of gentrification in Miami’s Little Haiti neighborhood at the Haitian Heritage Museum. Arroyo adopts a future realist approach to document commercial buildings, which will soon be replaced by new development – chronicling the loss of community’s cultural, social, and economic fabric. This event is part of Arts Innovation Talk Series: How Arts Influence the Making of Our Communities.
