Cruz’ works have been exhibited at The Coca-Cola Collection in Atlanta, The Alabama Museum, Florida International University, Agora Gallery in New York and Wynwood murals in Miami, to name a few.
Efraín Cruz paints of his people and for his people. His subject matter is mainly people that inspire him such as his family and people from his native Mexico. Spirituality and acknowledgement of a higher power can be found in his work. “My life in Mexico gave a brilliant stimulation to a life of painting. My artwork is colorful and bright. It reflects the culture of Veracrúz, Mexico with its rich history and deep spirituality”. The palette of Cruz’s work is wide extended. “The opportunities we get in life to find happiness are as endless as the combinations of color available in this world”.
