Artscape Lab presents Roberto Lombana: Yin & Yang

Thursday, July 18th from 7-10pm enjoy the opening reception of Yin & Yang at Artscape Lab featuring Roberto Lombana. The sustainability of any process in time originates in the consciousness of the creator. It is the result of the complementarity that is generated when mixing opposites. This philosophy has been the starting point of this photographic series that Roberto Lombana presents to us in his exhibition Yin & Yang.

With this series, Lombana takes us to reflect on topics such as the plea for love in the favelas of Rio de Janeiro in contrast to the presence of a sculpture about love in New York; or an infinite architectural image that alludes to M.C. Escher, in contrast to an image of a mangrove in the Colombian Pacific where nature is infinite and thus presenting us with a diversity of topics such as Zen philosophy, knowledge, food, highways and temples. This series is the result of photographs taken by Lombana during the last twelve years in different parts of the world, which are composed of similar graphic elements and opposite concepts known as the YING & YANG. This event is FREE and Open to the Public.
