Thursday, April 10th from 6 – 8pm enjoy the opening celebration of Strange Natures at the Bakehouse Art Complex in Wynwood. The exhibition features Bakehouse artists Christine Cortes, Lee Pivnik, and Zoe Schweiger. Curated by Krys Ortega, the exhibition explore themes of communal care, loss, resilience, and tenderness—all through the lens of South Florida’s evolving ecology.
Through sculpture, installation, and image-making, their work envisions shifting landscapes that blur the boundaries between dystopia and utopia, present and future, the familiar and strange.
