Breast Cancer Awareness Event with Christine Handy: ‘Empowering Women’

Tuesday, October 30th from 10am-5pm enjoy a Breast Cancer Awareness event Empowering Women at the Michelle Farmer Boutique in Palm Beach with survivor, best-selling author, model and motivational speaker Christine Handy. Empowering Women is a campaign dedicated to celebrating women and survivors.

Guests will enjoy an inspirational event in celebration of survivors featuring several special guest speakers! With a passion to raise awareness for Breast Cancer Awareness, Christine Handy participates in countless events telling her story and discussing her nationally best-selling book, ‘Walk Beside Me’, a fictional depiction of her illness and her long road to recovery. The book was released on May 1, 2016, and immediately became a national best-seller launching Christine into a new career as a public speaker and successful author. “A heart-felt story that makes you believe in miracles,” said Michael Levin, New York Times Best Selling Author, of Christine’s book Walk Beside Me.

“The events I do are all about getting major companies to support breast cancer,” explained Christine — who sits on the board of E-Beauty, a non-profit based in Miami, Florida that redistributes wigs. She has helped them send out over 20,000 wigs to date and recently John Paul Mitchell has just come on board to wash all the wigs donated to her charity. They are doing collaborations and talks at various venues to generate awareness and raising money for E-Beauty.
