Creative Collaging at The Bass

Thursday, May 20th from 5:30 – 7pm enjoy Creative Collaging at The Bass. In the spirit of the way Felix Gonzalez-Torres found his materials, we will be using readily available and mass-produced magazines and a variety of surfaces and textures, to explore color theory and the art of paper cutting. [VIRTUAL] ART AFTER HOURS
Recommended for ages 18+
Meet friends or bring friends and enjoy a creative virtual happy hour! Take a break after work and explore topics, techniques and themes in art through a series of monthly, virtual art-making workshops. Led by museum educators and designed for all skill levels, whether you are a beginner or a seasoned artist. Art materials are included with the cost of registration and can be picked up from the museum, shipped through USPS, or couriered locally via Uber Connect*
In honoring the 25th anniversary of exhibiting artist Felix Gonzalez-Torres’ death, art-making projects and themes for the spring season are drawn from the What Remains exhibition, on view through April 11, 2021.

Space is limited and classes fill quickly. Registration includes access to Zoom classes and packaged art materials. Register for multiple classes and arrange to get all class supplies at once.
