Illuminate Coral Gables

Friday, February 12th from 6 – 10pm experience the unveiling of Illuminate Coral Gables. Nine artists illuminate downtown Coral Gables for a 30-day outdoor exhibition of light sculpture and interactive art. Illuminate Coral Gables will bring stunning interactive art, video projections, and light sculptures to the streets of Coral Gables.

The Illuminate Coral Gables exhibition will turn the streets, historic buildings, and public spaces of Coral Gables into a brilliant outdoor museum. With downtown Coral Gables, FL as a three-dimensional canvas, this first-of-its-kind exhibition will fill our beautiful city with newly commissioned and existing works by world-renowned local, national & international artists and emerging virtuosos.

Curated by Lance Fung, Catherine Cathers, Jennifer Easton and Rosie Gordon Wallace, the exhibition will feature eight projects incorporating video projections, sculpture and art installations by a stellar group of local, national, and international artists including Kiki Smith and Cai Guo-Qiang.
