Lecture with Walead Beshty at the de la Cruz Collection

Friday, February 3rd at 6pm join us at de la Cruz Collection for a lecture with Walead Beshty. Enjoy a cocktail and dim-sum bar reception at 6pm and a lecture at 7pm, featuring Walead Beshty – a British-born artist and writer best known for his work in photography and sculpture, although his bodies of work span a large variety of media. Often addressing labor, bodies and networks in relation to art objects and their production, his work moves beyond the traditional confines of medium to create a rigorous and diverse artistic practice. These thematics extend into his large body of writing and curatorial projects, which span the last fifteen years. Beshty will discuss his works in the exhibition Progressive Praxis in relation to current and ongoing projects. Complimentary valet service will be available / RSVP here.
