Locust Projects: Borders of Freedom

Saturday, September 14th from 7-9pm experience the Opening Reception of Borders of Freedom/Contornos de Libertad at Locust Projects. Curated by Patricio Majano of Y.ES Contemporary, Borders of Freedom launches Locust Projects’ new Screening Room with an exhibition of video works by six artists living in El Salvador and its diaspora. Borders of Freedom includes work from The Mario Cader-Frech Collection, and more from the Y.ES Contemporary art loan program. Featuring four artworks from the program by artists Alexia Miranda, Abigail Reyes, Crack RodrÃguez and Fredy Solan. Adding to this selection, Majano selected works by Sayre Quevedo and Guadalupe Maravilla.
Borders of Freedom will be presented on a rotating loop in The Screening Room on Saturdays from 11am to 5pm from September 14 to October 12, 2019. Admission is free.
