Lowe Art Museum presents Hands & Earth: Six Perspectives on Japanese Contemporary Ceramics

Wednesday, June 20th from 7-9pm join us at the Lowe Art Museum at the University of Miami for the Opening Reception of Hands & Earth: Six Perspectives on Japanese Contemporary Ceramics. This exhibition consists of six groupings of important works by Japanese ceramic artists of the last 80 years, all from the private collection of Carol and Jeffrey Horvitz; showcasing a range of shapes, glazes, and surface treatments of many of the greatest ceramic artists, as well as an in-depth selection of early modern through contemporary masters.
