Lowe Art Museum presents James Prosek

Thursday, February 28, 2019, 7 – 9pm join us at the University of Miami’s Lowe Art Museum for the Opening Reception of James Prosek: Contra Naturum. Deeply invested in both the environment and environmental concerns, James Prosek is a contemporary artist whose creative output explores timeless aspects of humanity and the natural world while also engaging directly with the zeitgeist. These complementary threads are beautifully woven together in his exhibition, James Prosek: Contra Naturum/Against Nature, a critical commentary on South Florida’s rapidly changing ecosystem, on view through June 9, 2019.
