Lowe Museum of Art: Maria Magdalena Campos-Pons

Thursday, October 13th from 7-9pm the Lowe Art Museum is proud to host The Arnold and Augusta Newman Lecture Series in Photography, which invites distinguished photographers to the University of Miami to discuss their work. Join us for a lecture by Maria Magdalena Campos-Pons; from an inter-disciplinary approach, foremost Cuban artist Maria Magdalena Campos-Pons introduces a selection of projects from her practice over the last thirty years – projects that question the concept of home, placing the location of forgotten narratives in contemporary practices; and that address the boundaries between disciplines.
