Manuel Felguérez at Durban Segnini Gallery

Friday, November 18th from 7-10pm join us at Durban Segnini Gallery for the opening of Manuel Felguérez exhibition ‘Felguérez‘. Mathematics, science, and machines are the original inspirations of the imaginary world of the artist. Being an avid reader of science fiction, a tendency developed in him, which has influenced the poetics and the themes of his work. The exhibition offers a platform to analyze his sculptures and his latest paintings, which appears to be an important step to explain the reason for his juxtaposition of visual resources in a way that seems contradictory on the surface. The exhibition is on view from November 18th through March 2017.
