Wednesday, December 26th, 2018 through Tuesday, January 1st, 2019 the Miccosukee Tribe of Indians of Florida hosts the annual Indian Arts & Crafts Festival at the Miccosukee Indian Village in the heart of the Florida Everglades! Ticket information here.
Native, First Nations, Amerindian and Aboriginal members of the Americas once again honor the gathering tradition as the year closes and a new one begins. This is a celebration of the communal spirit that links us all and an open forum for cultural exchange. Enjoy a week filled with music, dance and arts and crafts as well as authentic foods, alligator demonstrations and the beautiful Florida Everglades. With over 45 vendors, performers and demonstrators, this is the largest gathering of its kind in South Florida.
Featured artists include the White Mountain Apache Crown Dancers, hoop dancer Ascencio Harjo, the Wasu Kasna Dance Troupe, the Native Pride Dancers, the Redhawk Native American Arts Council dancers and more. A wide selection of arts and crafts will be on display from vendors and artisans from across the Americas.
