MOCA presents Edouard Duval-Carrie: Metamorphosis

Thursday, September 14 from 7-9pm enjoy an Artist Reception at the Museum of Contemporary Art (MOCA), North Miami for the exhibition Edouard Duval-Carrié: Metamorphosis. The exhibition will be on display from September 7 through November 5, 2017. Metamorphosis features 37 new paintings and sculptures by the artist, who is Haitian-born, but calls Miami home. Centering on the symbolic and cultural histories of Haiti and the Caribbean, Duval-Carrié’s artistic themes are many variations on the historic life of the region, blending his distinct aesthetic with the everyday.
