Wednesday, October 24th from 7-9pm enjoy a night of discussion on the art and design of the Miami Design District’s Museum Garage, presented by Roca USA at the Institute of Contemporary Art, Miami.
Roca USA invites all members of the Institute of Contemporary Art, Miami to join them for light bites and a discussion into the art and design of the parking garage making headlines worldwide, the Museum Garage. The evening will be led by Alastair Gordon in conversation with the project’s architectural curator Terence Riley, of K/R Architects, Germane Barnes, Nick Gelpi and Kevin McAlarnen. RSVP to kkahn@icamiami.org
Miami Design District’s Museum Garage features five facades, each designed individually and without knowledge of the others. Inspired by a French parlor game, Exquisite Corpse, involves a collection of images assembled by various artists with no regard or knowledge of what the other has drawn, ultimately producing one image whose components may not match but together form one lively composition.
