Norton Museum: Bastille Day Celebration

Saturday, July 14th from 12noon – 5pm join us at the Norton Museum of Art when once again, the Norton dons a beret to celebrate Bastille Day. All activities will be presented with a French Twist! The air will be filled with gypsy jazz and swing and romantic French ballads performed by Les Nuages (The Clouds) – back by popular demand. Take a French lesson and learn to parlez and little Francais. Eat a fab French crepe. View impressive French impressionism. Learn about French artists, including Monet, Matisse, Pissarro, Degas, Braque, Bonnard, and others – whose renowned work is in Museum Collection.  Create your own French-influenced masterpiece guided by teaching artists. Watch a cool French film! Hosted in conjunction with the Multilingual Language & Cultural Society of West Palm Beach, this is one celebration you won’t want to miss! Until then, au revoir! Admission is free.
