Saturday, July 8th from 12noon – 1:30pm experience Creativity Exploration: Characters of Clay at NSU Art Museum in Fort Lauderdale. Inspired by the hybrid creatures and characters from the imaginations of Leonora Carrington and Sophie Woodrow, make your own creation using clay and play. Advanced reservations are required, space is limited. RSVP HERE.
Creativity Exploration adult workshops promote the benefits of creative exploration and the mind-to-body experience. Studies have shown that 45 minutes of creative activity a day reduces stress and offers mental clarity and relaxation. In addition to producing a sense of well-being, sessions expand participants’ perceptions of forms, while increasing brain connectivity through visual and cognitive stimulation. The workshop is led by educator and award-winning instructor Lark Keeler, a specialist in mindfulness education.
Creativity Exploration is sponsored by the Charles P. Ferro Foundation.
