NSU Art Museum presents Creativity Exploration: Stitched and Switched

Saturday, October 10th from 12 – 2pm enjoy an art workshop at NSU Art Museum in Fort Lauderdale, Creativity Exploration: Stitched and Switched. One of NSU Art Museum’s most popular education programs, Creativity Exploration promotes the development of creativity and self-expression through art-making and the practice of mindfulness. On Saturday, October 10, join educator and mindfulness instructor Lark Keeler for a Zoom class inspired by the stitchery of British textile artist Claire Wellesley Smith and the Japanese tradition of Sashiko (functional embroidery). Participants will draw with thread and create designs or messages on repurposed fabric. No prior experience is necessary. Register to join on Zoom, RSVP here.
