Saturday, March 19th from 12 – 1:30pm NSU Art Museum presents Creativity Exploration: Worry-less Dolls. Inspired by the assemblage pieces of Vanessa German, craft a doll into a vessel that can absorb worries, doubts, concerns, and regrets. Creativity Exploration adult workshops promote the benefits of creative exploration and the mind-to-body experience. Studies have shown that 45 minutes of creative activity a day reduces stress and offers mental clarity and relaxation. In addition to producing a sense of well-being, sessions expand participants’ perceptions of forms, while increasing brain connectivity through visual and cognitive stimulation. The workshop is led by educator Lark Keeler, a specialist in mindfulness education.
No prior experience is necessary. Advance reservations are required, space is limited / RSVP HERE.
Creativity Exploration is sponsored by the Charles P. Ferro Foundation.
