Sunday, May 10th from 1:30 – 2:30pm experience NSU Art Museum‘s Second Sunday Film Series featuring Mrs. G. Join NSU Art Museum and David Posnak JCC for a Mother’s Day afternoon of art and film featuring a guided tour of the exhibition Happy! followed by a screening of Mrs. G. The Museum and Cafe open at Noon.

This inspiring documentary tells the story of legendary designer and larger-than-life character, Lea Gottlieb (Mrs. G.), the founder of the Gottex swimwear empire. A Holocaust survivor with endless creativity and a dominant personality, Mrs. G. navigated her way to the top of the glamorous fashion world. The film follows her complicated relationships with her two daughters, and her unbridled passion, for which she paid a heavy a heavy price. Directed byDalit Kimor, Israel 2019, Hebrew with English subtitles, 60 minutes.
