Thursday, July 19th at 7pm join us at the Pérez Art Museum Miami in connection to PAMM’s current exhibition, william cordova now’s the time: narratives of southern alchemy, enjoy a special screening of the classic 1983 documentary Style Wars, directed by Tony Silver. Style Wars chronicles New York City street culture in the early 1980’s, focusing on the rising popularity of graffiti among urban youth and its impact on the city. The film also features the anti-graffiti efforts led by then New York City Mayor Ed Koch. Please be advised that the film features strong language and content.
