Saturday, July 9th from 11am – 3pm experience Free Second Saturdays: Colors Cubed at the Pérez Art Museum Miami. As part of PAMM Free Second Saturdays, create artwork inspired by Brazilian artist Hélio Oiticica’s Penetrável Macaleia. Oiticica created various Penetrável walk-in installations that immersed the viewer in color within environments that evoked and celebrated the favela communities of Rio de Janeiro. Recall a fun memory, and create your own cube of color inspired by the past all in one afternoon. PAMM teaching artists will guide visitors of all ages in art making using color, shape, and textured materials to fill their own box of colorful memories.
Admission is free all day. Art activities from 11am-3pm.
