PAMM Live Studio Visits: AdrienneRose Gionta with Jennifer Inacio

Thursday, March 11th at 7pm join the Pérez Art Museum Miami‘s (PAMM) Live Studio Visits, a series that highlights local artists through virtual visits with PAMM curators. Get a first-hand look at the artists’ work and practice through this intimate lens.

This month, new media artist AdrienneRose Gionta will join in conversation with PAMM Associate Curator Jennifer Inacio to discuss how her work analyzes identity and cultural assumptions about fatness, beauty standards, embodiment, and fulfillment on and offline. Gionta creates imagined digital worlds where her avatars can have it all, challenging the limiting social standards imposed on women, from beliefs about personal empowerment to acceptable norms within pop culture.
