Wednesday, December 6th through Sunday, December 10th Pinta Miami inaugurates The Hangar in Coconut Grove for Miami Art Week 2023. Located on the water at Regatta Harbour – built on the historic site known as Dinner Key and part of Miami’s oldest neighborhood, Coconut Grove. Originally an island and later connected to the mainland in 1914, Dinner Key received its name for being a beautiful picnic stop while traveling by boat along the coastal waters of the city. This historical Hangar was built in 1918 as the first continental naval air station in the United States until the end of WWI. The Hangar was later turned into a Pan American Seaplane Base. The perfect backdrop for Miami’s Latin American art fair Pinta Miami. In line with Pinta’s commitment as an international platform to energize and disseminate Ibero American modern and contemporary art, and with a stronger-than-ever bond to its Latin American roots, this year’s edition brings forth an artistic program which includes diverse and interdisciplinary expositions and carefully articulated sections.
