Tapping into the local environment and the blockchain, MyFi is producing a site-specific performance for November’s Culture Crawl at The Bass. Referencing MyFi’s inaugural NFT collection, Fruiting Bodies is a meeting place and multi-sensory performance. Mold is all around us, and beneath the mold is a mycelium network. All living organisms–plants, humans, and, yes, technology–function within an interconnected network of communication. If the mycelium network could send you a message, what would it be? Fruiting Bodies marks where the mycelium network grows and where it’s going next.
