The Frank presents Frank Contemporaries

Thursday, October 24th from 6-8pm The Frank C. Ortis Art Gallery and Exhibition Hall presents Frank Contemporaries, a pop-up exhibition showcasing emerging artists and creative community resources; an event that offers artists, students, arts professionals and industry insiders the opportunity to present their work, discover new peers and supporters, and foster professional connections.

Frank Contemporaries Spotlight: Artists of Choose954 on October 24th will feature works by painters Steve Diossy and Asbel Dumpierre, and sculptures by Michael Jude Russo. Guests will get a preview of the 1000 Mermaids Artificial Reef Project, a monumental public EcoArt project in the form of an artificial reef installation that will also serve as an underwater eco-friendly destination for tourism & research. This event will include a presentation on upcoming opportunities and resources for local artists by Evan Snow and Andrew Martineau, the founders of Art Fort Lauderdale and Choose954, a social movement that aims to cultivate culture & community in Broward County.

This event is free to the public. Complimentary refreshments and hors d’oeuvres will be served.
