The Frank presents ‘Into Africa’

Friday, May 24th from 6-9pm The Frank C. Ortis Art Gallery & Exhibit Hall in Pembroke Pines is proud to present the opening reception of their next stellar exhibit ‘Into Africa‘. Organized and traveled by the National Geographic Society, Into Africa highlights the wonders of wild Africa as seen through the lens of photographer Frans Lanting. Guests will be visually transported from the savannas of East Africa, to the jungles of the Congo Basin, to the paradise of Madagascar and into the heart of the Kalahari Desert.

Guests will enjoy a special performance by students of the flagship ‘Rhythms of Africa’ program at West Broward High School, led by musician and director Willie Stewart. Additionally, a kick-off to The Frank’s Summer Symphony Series will commence with a string quartet performing throughout the evening. This event is free and open to the public. Complimentary refreshments and hors d’oeuvres will be served. The exhibition runs through August 10, 2019.
