Famous “Dog Artist” Skip Hartzell Exhibiting At Aqua Art Miami
Experience dog artist Skip Hartzell‘s exhibition at Aqua Art Miami Room #124 during Art Basel Week this coming December 5-9, 2018 at the Aqua Hotel in South Beach. Guests will enjoy charcoal drawings, oil paintings and four-legged sculptures, Hartzell’s hotel suite will be crawling with canine-based works of art! This renowned artist creates dog-inspired art for art lovers and dog lovers alike, but he’s not your typical “dog artist” by any means. Hartzell is not a dog-painter, but instead an artist who is keen on exploring the movement, form, and energy embodied by man’s best friend.
Hartzell creates unique pieces, from paintings, sculptures, works on paper, to wall installations. All of the work is rich with intricacies of color and technique. His painterly expression captures each dog’s own personality with beautiful textures, line and brush strokes using mixed media to bring each dog to life. Hartzell creates directly from his emotions and instincts, his work is inspired by dogs of all shapes, sizes and varieties.

Aqua Art Miami will kick off with a VIP Preview on Wednesday, December 5th and open to the public December 6 – 9, 2018.
