Studio 18 Art Complex in Pembroke Pines presents ‘EmpowerHer’, a Vibrant Celebration of Black Women


The Studio 18 Art Complex will host ‘EmpowerHer’, a vibrant celebration of Black women’s power and feminism, on Friday, June 21st from 7 – 9pm. Explore a pop-up art exhibition, engage in artist talks, and experience live poetry performances that highlight the resilience and beauty of Black womanhood. This event is free, and registration is not required. Studio 18 Art Complex is located at 1101 Poinciana Drive in Pembroke Pines, FL 33025.



Enjoy an exciting day of art and culture at the Studio 18 Art Complex in the City of Pembroke Pines, featuring Niki Lopez, Amorette “Epiphany” Lormil, and Brenda Presil.

8:15 – 9 PM | What’s Your Elephant collage activity, led by Niki Lopez
7 – 9 PM | Pop Up Art Show featuring the work of Brenda Presil




Studio 18 Art Complex is an 11,000 sq ft. multi-faceted art space offering affordable studios for emerging and mid-career artists. The complex showcases compelling and innovative artwork, serving the community by presenting varied exhibitions, workshops, and events year round. The resident artists participate in exhibitions throughout the year drawing crowds of people, while also enjoying 24-hour secure access and the ability to teach their craft in classrooms and have full use of the artists’ lounge.
